Overview & History

At Kindred, care and support are provided in the most appropriate
setting for patients recovering from illness or injury. Located just south
of downtown, patients who receive care at Kindred Hospital Bay Area – St.
Petersburg and Acute Rehabilitation Unit are given the same in-depth
care as received in traditional hospitals or intensive care units, but for an
extended recovery period. Kindred partners with their patients’ physicians
to offer exceptional 24/7 clinical care.
